Introduction

JW24/7 (“the App”) is designed to help users stay organized, take notes, and access helpful resources. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and your choices regarding that data.

Payments and Purchases: JW24/7 does not sell digital content, subscriptions, or services. The App may include links to external apps or websites that are independently available (including apps that can be downloaded for free).

1) Disclaimer (Non-Affiliation)

JW24/7 is an independent, unofficial app developed and maintained by JW4Yps. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any religious organization, including the owners of JW.org or JW Library. Official resources are available from their respective providers.

2) Privacy Policy

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

The App allows you to create notes, lists, and personal content. This information is stored locally on your device unless you choose to export/share it or enable optional sync features (if available).

2.2 Optional Account Information (If Sync Requires It)

If you choose to create an account for optional cloud syncing (only if offered), we may collect your email address solely for authentication.

2.3 Device Permissions

Camera Access

JW24/7 may request access to your device’s camera only when you choose to scan a QR code. The camera is used exclusively for QR code scanning. No images or video are captured or stored by the App, and no camera data is transmitted to external servers.

Photo Library Access

JW24/7 may request access to your photo library only when you choose a photo to personalize your notes or saved content. Selected photos remain on your device. The App does not upload or transmit your photos.

2.4 Local Storage

Your notes, preferences, and settings are stored locally on your device unless you enable optional sync features (if available).

2.5 Cloud Sync (Optional)

If enabled (and if the feature is offered), your notes may be securely stored using your chosen cloud provider.

• Data may be encrypted in transit (provider dependent)
• You may disable sync at any time

2.6 Analytics

JW24/7 does not use analytics tools inside the mobile app. If analytics are used on the website (jw247.org), they will be limited to anonymous, non-identifying metrics.

2.7 External Links to Third-Party Apps and Websites

JW24/7 includes optional links to third-party apps and websites such as Zoom, TCS, and KH Conference.

• These third-party apps are independently offered by their providers
• JW24/7 does not sell or unlock any paid content
• Opening a link simply directs you to the official App Store listing or the provider’s website
• No personal data is shared by JW24/7 solely from opening these links

2.8 How We Use Information

We use your information only to:

• Provide core app functionality
• Sync your notes (only if you enable optional sync and it is offered)
• Improve stability and user experience

We do not:

• Track your activity
• Sell your data
• Use your data for advertising
• Share your data with third parties for marketing

2.9 Children’s Privacy

JW24/7 does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

3) Terms of Use

By using JW24/7, you agree to these Terms.

3.1 Intended Use

If you submit feedback, suggestions, or bug reports, you grant the developer the right to use that feedback to improve the App, without compensation and without obligation.

3.5 Prohibited Actions

• Do not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where permitted by law.
• Do not redistribute, resell, sublicense, or publish the App (or any portion of it) without written permission.
• Do not use the App to store or process content that violates applicable laws or the rights of others.

3.6 Third-Party Services

The App may link to or rely on third-party services (example: other apps or websites). Those services are provided under their own terms and policies.

4.1 License Grant

Subject to these Terms, you are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to install and use JW24/7 for personal use.

4.2 Restrictions

• You may not copy, modify, distribute, sublicense, rent, lease, or sell the App, except where permitted by law.
• You may not create derivative works from the App, except where permitted by law.
• You may not attempt to bypass security features or access the App in an unauthorized manner.

4.3 Termination

This license terminates automatically if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, you must stop using the App and delete all copies.

Apple devices: If distributed on the Apple App Store, Apple’s standard EULA may apply unless a custom EULA is provided in App Store Connect.

5) Open Source Notices

This App includes open-source software libraries. License texts and acknowledgements may be provided in-app or in accompanying documentation.
